COLUMBIA Shipmanagement (Deutschland) GmbH was founded in the year 1995 in Hamburg, Germany. In the year of founding the company started with a small team of eight people managing six vessels. COLUMBIA ever since navigates on course of continuous growth with a constantly rising number of vessels and reaches nowadays an amount of over 130 vessels under full and crew management. It is not only an enormous increase in the amount of managed fleet but also the number of employees has risen - more than 100 employees are presently working for COLUMBIA Shipmanagement (Deutschland) GmbH.
